Glazer Delmar appoints new Family Department Chief

London - Glazer Delmar, the well-established South London solicitors, has appointed Joanna Brown, formerly with Brand & Co. in North Cheam, to head up and develop its Family & Relationships department.

Joanna, who initially trained as a barrister, has specialised in family law for over a decade and is a member of the Law Society's family panel. Her commitment to a conciliatory approach helps clients through what is often the most distressing and stressful period of their lives and if a case does need to go to court, she can easily draw on her advocacy experience to ensure that clients receive a consistent and continuous service.

Michael Glazer, Senior Partner says:- ' For the past 15 years, my business partner Barbara Delmar has built and nurtured our Family department and our reputation within the local community is , as a result, excellent. However, now that Barbara has retired, we are delighted to have found Joanna, who I feel sure will continue to enhance our expertise - while at the same time broadening our range of services to include ( amongst other things ), civil partnerships. We also hope that she will rise to the challenge of extending our geographic reach well beyond the SE15 postal area.'

Joanna, who is 44 and married, lives in Upper Norwood and spends her spare time sitting on a Family Centre Committee, chairing a fostering panel, playing basketball and running several times a week.
